At Punzal Vision, your comprehensive eye examination will include several tests to evaluate your vision and eye health.
We are dedicated to providing our patients with the highest level of care, and offer cutting-edge diagnostic technology and advanced testing methods that meet and exceed industry standards.
Your exam will begin with a medical history discussion, followed by vision tests to check your eyesight at different distances.
What To Expect in Your Comprehensive Eye Exam:
Eye Health Evaluation: Using advanced imaging to examine your retina, optic nerve, and other eye structures. We'll also check for common conditions like glaucoma and cataracts.
Visual Acuity Testing: Reading letters on charts at various distances to measure your vision clarity.
Refraction Assessment: Testing different lens combinations to determine your precise prescription for glasses or contacts.
Your eyes may be dilated, which can cause temporary light sensitivity and blurred near vision.
Please bring sunglasses and arrange transportation if needed!
Remember to bring:
- Current glasses or contacts
- List of medications
- Medical & Vision Insurance Information
- Medical history notes
Regular eye exams are crucial for maintaining your vision health and catching potential issues early.
We recommend adults have comprehensive exams annually, or more frequently if advised by your doctor.
